My 9/11, 2006

The film is a personal recount to his son of what he saw, felt and thought during the greatest disaster he experienced in his life. On that fateful day, Tjebbo was living a mere 500 meters away from the collapsing towers.
For this project, the sound design was done with a great deal of subtletly, using recorded sounds captured by Tjebbo’s DV camera. The aim was to have the audio sound as authentic as possible.
