Conductor Geert van den Dungen discovered an exceptional singing talent in the twelve-year-old choirboy Oscar Verhaar. In the years that followed, Geert would become Oscar’s most important singing teacher. In doing so, he soon set up Oscar as a soloist in the many St Matthew and St John Passions he conducted.
